EA Louse wrote:We sold more than a million boxes, and only had 300k subs a month later. Going down every since. It’s “stableâ€Â￾ now, but guess what? Even Dark Age and Ultima have more subs than we have. How great is that? Games almost a decade make more money than our biggest project.
Also mentions some stuff about Star Wars: The Old Republic...

The comments has much more details than the main post. Doesn't sound like a good environment to work in, but then we know EA will destroy anything they touch.

Very interesting. I know that a lot of competent people get the boot in EA when the cut backs happen and it's a real shame. Happened to a friend of mine who now leads the projects I work on, and I have to say he's a great guy and very very competent and knows his stuff.

I can however say that with an attitude like the person has in that blog, it's of no surprise to me that he/she is getting laid off. I know it's upsetting and I'd be angry too, but that's seriously no way to act! He/she's almost as bad as the incompetent fools there for writing that.

True. That goes for games and smaller companies sadly.
